(Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) GWAC (Government-Wide Acquisition Contract) provides the latest in Information Technology (IT) products for all Federal Agencies.

SEWP VI is a government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC) that provides government agencies with streamlined access to a comprehensive range of Information Technology, Communications, and Audio Visual (ITC/AV) hardware, software, and services and cloud solutions. Building on the success of previous SEWP contracts – one of the most widely used procurement vehicles for IT solutions in the public sector – SEWP VI is designed to further simplify the acquisition process.

The SEWP VI contract has a five-year base period and five one-year option periods, with a maximum ceiling value of $60 billion dollars. SEWP VI is currently managed by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and will be available for use by all government agencies and their approved support contractors beginning in November 1 2026.

SEWP V adheres to Fair Opportunity: FAR 16.505(b) (1) which provides that each contractor shall be given fair opportunity to be considered for each order typically exceeding $10,000 and issued under multiple award contracts. The FAR states that the method to obtain fair opportunity is at the discretion of the CO and that the CO must document the rationale for placement and price of each order. Using the SEWP online Quote Request Tool is the recommended method to assist in this activity and to augment the required decision documentation. The SEWP QRT tool will automatically include the Contract Holders within a selected Group or based on a suggested source.
